Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

Spritory is run by Wolfwalkers Labs. This policy explains what we collect when you use Spritory, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.

The short version

Spritory builds your assets in your browser, on your own machine. Nothing you make is sent to us unless you sign in and choose to save it.

There is no AI model involved in the product, so your work is never sent to a model provider, and it is never used to train anything.

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

What we collect

Account information. Only if you create an account: your email address, and the information needed to keep you signed in. If you buy a license, Stripe handles the payment — Spritory never sees or stores your card number.

Work you choose to save. If you're signed in and save a sprite or an effect, we store it, along with a small preview image, so you can open it again from another machine. If you never save, we never receive it.

Images you upload. When you use an image to build a style, it's read in your browser. What can end up saved to your account is the style itself, not the picture you dropped in.

Usage data. We collect basic product analytics — which pages get visited and which features get used — so we know what to fix and what to build next. We don't record your screen or your session.

Technical data. Standard information that comes with any web request, such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps, is logged as part of running the site securely.

How we use it

We use the information above to:

  • Save your work and give it back to you when you sign in.
  • Keep your account secure.
  • Process your license purchase and handle refund requests.
  • Understand how the product is used so we can improve it.
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Send you release notes or account-related email if you opt in.

We do not use your uploads or your saved work for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.

AI and who else sees your data

Spritory does not send your work to any AI model. Your assets are built in your browser from the shapes you assemble and the style you choose. No model provider is involved, because no model is involved at all — and so your work can't be used to train one.

To run Spritory we rely on a small number of service providers, each of which only receives what it needs to do its job:

  • A cloud hosting provider, which runs the site and stores your saved work.
  • Stripe, which processes payments for the license.
  • An analytics provider, which helps us understand product usage.
  • An email provider, which delivers sign-in and account emails.

We'll tell you who these providers are if you ask — email contact@spritory.com and we'll send you the current list. We don't share your data with anyone else, except where we're legally required to.

If we ever add an optional feature that does send your work to an AI provider, it will be something you choose to turn on, and we'll update this page before it ships.

Data retention

We keep your account and your saved work for as long as your account is active, so it's there when you come back. Delete a saved sprite or effect and it's removed. Close your account and we delete your data, with backups catching up within 30 days — except where we're required to keep records, such as billing records needed for tax or accounting.

Work you never saved stays in your own browser. We can't see it and we can't delete it for you; clearing your browser data removes it.

Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your data at any time. Saved sprites and effects can be opened, exported, and deleted in the product. For anything the product doesn't yet have a button for — a full account export, closing your account, or correcting your account details — email contact@spritory.com and we'll handle it directly. We'll respond and act on these requests promptly.

If you're located in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with statutory data-subject rights, those rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) apply to you and can be exercised through the same contact address.

Cookies

We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party trackers, and we don't record your session.

The editors also use your browser's own storage to keep your work-in-progress between visits. That isn't tracking, and it never leaves your device.

Changes to this policy

Spritory is still early, and this policy will evolve as the product does. If we make a material change — in particular, if we ever add a feature that sends your work to someone else — we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify active users directly.
