What is Spritory
Spritory is a browser studio for 2D game art. Build sprites and effects from simple shapes, and your palette and light keep every asset consistent.
Your first sprite
A guided first session in the Spritory Forge: how sprites are built, then a template turned into your own asset, varied, animated, saved and exported.
Using the Forge
Sprite Forge
A tour of the Spritory Sprite Forge: shapes and layers, color and texture, art styles, light, seed variants and every canvas shortcut.
Palettes
Every palette setting in Spritory explained with examples: color slots, shade bands, light, outlines, dithering, texture, contact shadows, Lospec import and palette lock.
Animation
Bring Spritory sprites to life with motion presets, or capture poses on a timeline and let the Forge tween between them.
VFX Forge
Build fire, smoke, sparks, explosions and other pixel art effects in Spritory with particle emitters, and learn the settings that matter most.
Export
Export Spritory sprites and effects as PNG, sprite sheets with a JSON atlas, GIF, APNG, Godot SpriteFrames or a pre-sliced Unity sheet.
AI agents
Overview
Connect ChatGPT, Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Cursor or VS Code to Spritory over MCP and let your agent build pixel art sprites and effects in your style.
ChatGPT and Codex
Set up the Spritory MCP server in the ChatGPT desktop app, the Codex CLI and the Codex IDE extension, then ask for pixel art sprites and effects.
Claude Code
Add the Spritory MCP server to Claude Code with one command, then ask Claude to build and edit pixel art sprites and effects in your style.
Gemini CLI
Add the Spritory MCP server to Gemini CLI and let Gemini create pixel art sprites and effects that match your palette.
OpenCode
Configure Spritory as a remote MCP server in OpenCode and have your agent build pixel art game assets for you.
Cursor
Add the Spritory MCP server to Cursor and ask the agent for pixel art sprites and effects while you build your game.
VS Code
Add the Spritory MCP server to VS Code and let GitHub Copilot agent mode build pixel art sprites and effects for your game.
